What is your price range?
At L'amour Curves Plus Size Bridal boutique, our prices for plus size wedding dresses start from just £499. We also have off the rack plus size wedding dresses starting from just £80!
How do you take payment?
Deposit of 50% taken when you choose your dress. We then order the dress to your measurements and require the remaining balance when you come to collect your dress. You can pay cash, via card or bank transfer.
Do your dresses come from China?
The majority of our dresses are from British Suppliers. However many wedding dresses, including expensive designers, are made in bridal factories in China. The quality of our dresses are much higher than what you would find on the internet.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Currently you do need to book an appointment for L'amour Curves Plus Size Bridal Boutique, however you can book same day appointments as long as we have availability. Just call us on 07726222577.
Why can I only bring 2 people with me to the appointment?
Our bridal boutique is in house and therefore we unfortunately do not have the space to accommodate more than 2 guests. Thank you for your cooperation on this.
What sizes do your dresses come in?
The majority of our wedding dresses range from size 16 to size 36. Please note that your wedding dress size is usually different to your high street clothing size, so it's really important you come into the boutique to try on dresses.
Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
We would advise you bring with you any special underwear you wish to wear on your special day and a pair of shoes for gauging your height/length of your dress.
What if my weight changes?
We offer an out of house fitting and alterations service. We advise that you plan your wedding dress shopping at least a year ahead to give you ample time for fittings and alterations.
Do you have any dresses I can buy and take away the same day?
As well as our dresses on order we also stock sample and preloved plus size wedding gowns which can be taken away on the day. These are what we call “off the rack” wedding dresses and are sold as seen.
How long do consultations take?
We want you to take your time choosing your wedding dress. What we find works well is an hour and a half for your bridal consultation. However don't feel as if you need to rush, if there is an appointment after yours we will happily book you in to come back as many times as you need!
What is the delivery times for my dress once it is ordered?
Delivery times can take up to 20 weeks. Express delivery is available up to 12 weeks for an extra charge. You will be notified as soon as your gown arrives in the store. You will then be required to arrange a fitting after which collection and payment in full will be required within 30 days of your dress arriving at the boutique.
